As you know, trackle is based on the symptothermal method, a method that has been researched for many years. This method has a defined set of strict rules, as to when a bleeding is considered to be menstrual blood in the beginning of a new cycle.
The reason for this is that bleeding (i.e. spotting) can also occur during the time of ovulation and can therefore be a sign of fertility.
In regards to the interpretation of your cycle, this means the following:
If trackle was able to detect ovulation in your previous cycle, then one entry of menstrual bleeding with the strength description “strong”, “medium” or “weak" is sufficient to start a new cycle. But if NO ovulation could be detected, then at least 2 entries of a bleeding (with the strength description “strong”, “medium” or “weak", not spotting) are needed to start a new cycle.
